Installing the Firefox Browser Extension

The Firefox Browser Extension is the tool to allow you to surf the internet safely, by connecting to the provider services subscribed through your Lethean Wallet.

You have two different options to install the Extension, either through the Compiled Extension available in Mozilla Addons, or through the source available at Lethean's public repository.

From Compiled Extension

From Source

Start by cloning or downloading the zip file with the Extension's latest version from our official repository: https://github.com/LetheanMovement/lethean-browser-extension-ff

Once the download is finished, you will need to create ZIP file with the contents of the extension (using the ZIP file directly downloaded from Github will not work, as the ZIP includes a subfolder, and files for the extension need to be in the root of the ZIP file).

Go to the folder where the files for the extension are located, and create a ZIP file from all of them. You should end up with something similar to the following image:

When you are done creating the ZIP file, click on the FIrefox menu and then on "Add-ons":

In the following page, click on "Extension" on the left side of the page, then on the Cog dropdown and finnaly "Debug Add-ons":

In the "Debugging Add-ons" page, click on "Loading Temporary Add-on":

Select the ZIP file with the extension, and click "Open":

You should now have the Extension installed, showing it in the extensions list on the center of the screen, and the Extension icon on the top right hand corner:

Now, you just need to click on "Click to Connect" in the Extension to start surfing the web maintaining your privacy:
